Confirmation
Fall 2026 - Confirmation has begun! For grades 6-9. To sign up, just email Pastor Doug Rothgeb with your name, phone number, and email address.
Mark your calendar: August 23rd at 9:30 am - Parent and student confirmation informational meeting in the OSL Fellowship Hall.
Confirmation 2026-2027 is a combined setting, each Wednesday, with confirmation students from Emanuel, OSL, and St. John's! Confirmation classes will rotate between churches each month, changing between exploring faith through confirmation lessons, a service project or learning about a community organization, or just getting together and having fun. Check the OSL for the 2026-2027 class schedule.
We also understand that the life can be busy, especially for teenagers and their families. If meeting on a weekly basis is too difficult but you (or your teenager), reach out to Pastor Doug. He can work with you to create a custom confirmation education schedule that meets your needs but also covers everything you need to know to be confirmed.
For those completing confirmation this year, mark May 2nd on your calendar for Confirmation Sunday! More information to come!
Youth Group - RISE
RISE! - OSL's High School and College-aged student group meets the first Sunday of every month at 6 pm in the OSL Education Building.
